Drake Medox is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking National Clinical Manager to lead our clinical coordination function across Auckland and the wider North Island.

This is a senior clinical leadership role with national influence. You'll be responsible for driving clinical excellence, governance, audit, training and team performance - without carrying a client caseload. You'll also play a key role in shaping clinical culture and contributing at a national leadership level.

About the Role

This position provides strategic and operational clinical leadership to a team of Clinical Coordinators. You will:

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of senior clinicians across Auckland and the North Island
• Own and strengthen clinical governance, policy, audit and risk frameworks
• Provide clinical oversight and guidance on complex cases and escalations
• Lead internal clinical audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Drive clinical education, training and workforce capability development
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including ACC, ABI services, spinal units and rehabilitation providers
• Act as a clinical culture leader and trusted advisor within the national senior leadership team

About You

You are an experienced Registered Nurse and confident clinical leader who brings energy, credibility and strategic thinking. You'll also have:

• Current NZ Nursing Registration and APC
• Significant experience in community, rehabilitation, disability or complex care settings
• Proven experience leading and developing clinical teams
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, audits, risk and quality systems
• Experience working with ACC‑funded services (highly regarded)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A positive, solutions‑focused leadership style with the ability to influence at senior levels
• Must have working rights for NZ
